1. What is an NFR license?

An NFR (Not for Resale) license is a non-commercial license provided to eligible Partners to:

  • Familiarise themselves with the usecure platform.

  • Conduct product demonstrations for prospects and clients.

  • Support internal training and awareness as part of overall Partner enablement.

2. How many NFR licenses are available to me?

Eligible Partners may receive up to 50 NFR licenses for a 12-month period. After this, usecure will review your NFR allocation based on sales performance and engagement.

3. Can I use NFR licenses to train my internal staff?

Yes, Partners are permitted to use NFR licenses for internal training. However, they should not be used exclusively for this purpose. The primary intent is to help you promote, demo, and resell the platform to clients.

4. What happens after the 12-month NFR license period ends?

After 12 months, your NFR usage will be reviewed, and future allocation will depend on your sales activity and engagement as a Partner.

5. What does “sales performance” refer to?

Sales performance reflects how actively you're promoting and reselling usecure — including generated leads, client deployments, and revenue contribution. Regular engagement supports continued access to NFR licenses.

6. What are the eligibility requirements for receiving NFR licenses?

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be an active usecure Partner.

  • Submit and maintain valid billing information.

  • Use the NFR licenses for a combination of internal enablement and go-to-market activity.

7. Will I be charged for the NFR licenses?

No, they are provided free of charge, provided you meet the eligibility criteria and maintain valid billing information.

8. What happens if I don’t provide billing information?

Without valid and up-to-date billing details, your NFR licenses may be revoked. These are a benefit of active Partner status, which includes maintaining your billing profile.

9. Can I assign NFR licenses to real client users?

No. NFR licenses must not be used to deliver services to end clients. They are strictly for internal Partner use, including staff training and demonstrations.

10. Can NFR licenses be used for a full rollout within our MSP organisation?

Yes, you may use them to train your own staff. However, if your use of NFR licenses is solely internal and there’s no evidence of sales engagement, access may be reviewed or revoked.

11. Will I receive support with my NFR license?

Yes. As an NFR license holder, you have access to:

  • Standard technical support.

  • Your dedicated Account Manager, who is available to support you with reselling usecure — including strategy discussions, sales enablement, and best practices.

  • A variety of Go to Market (GTM) resources and marketing packs, including email templates, pitch decks, case studies, and campaign assets to help you promote usecure to your clients.

These resources are designed to help you successfully position and grow with the usecure platform.

12. Can usecure revoke my NFR licenses at any time?

Yes. usecure reserves the right to grant or revoke NFR licenses at its sole discretion, especially in cases of misuse or if eligibility criteria are no longer met.

13. How do I demonstrate appropriate use of the NFR licenses?

Appropriate use includes:

  • Training your internal team.

  • Demonstrating the platform to prospects.

  • Running pilot evaluations or sandbox setups.

14. Where can I find the terms and conditions for NFR licences?

The terms and conditions for NFR licences are outlined in Section 27 of the usecure Partner Agreement.

A link to the Partner Agreement is included in your welcome email when you sign up as a partner with usecure. If you have any questions about the terms, please contact your Account Manager or reach out to us via the support chat messenger on our platform.

Please reach out to your Account Manager for further information or to book a refresher session to help put together a go-to-market plan with you.
