By default, only end users with a matching email domain can be added to an account. This is to help prevent users from outside the organisation being uploaded by accident.

In some cases, you may want to allow end users to be freely added to a customer account. This could be the case if your customer has end users with email domains that don't match the organisation's main one. Consultants and staff in regional offices are common examples of this.

With uService, you can choose to allow end users to be freely added to a customer account regardless of email domain by lifting Domain Lock.

How to lift Domain Lock from a customer account

Note: Domain Lock can only be lifted from full, paid accounts. Domain Lock cannot be lifted on free trial accounts.

1. Open uService and click Edit on the customer account

2. Switch to the Plan tab and click on the Domain Lock slider to turn it off

3. Click Save Customer

You will now be able to add users with any email domain to the client account.
