The uLearn Course Library offers a wide range of courses covering different topics, styles, and difficulty levels. To help you find the right course quickly, you can use filters, the search bar, and sorting options.
In this article you will learn:
Using the search bar
In uLearn > Course Library, in the top right corner, you’ll see a search bar. This allows you to search by course name or description. For example, typing Phishing will show all courses that contain Phishing in either the title or the description. This is useful if you know a keyword but aren’t sure which category or subject it falls under.
Using course filters
You can refine your results further by using the filter panel.
The following filters are available:
Type - This refers to the source of the course.
Difficulty - This filter allows you to select the level of the course (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced). Please note, users will need to have completed the previous levels to be able to access the next level up.
Style - The format in which the course is delivered. You can pick the course style that suits you: Blog, Cartoon, Explainer, or Whiteboard.
Blog: Text-based courses delivered in easy-to-read bullet points.
Cartoon: Animated videos with engaging visuals.
Explainer: Clear, informative courses that use simple visuals and narration to break down topics in an easy-to-understand way.
Whiteboard: Sketch-style videos where ideas and concepts are drawn on screen as you watch.
Category – Filter by broad topics, such as Compliance, Threats, Workplace Practices, etc.
Subject – Narrow results to a specific focus within a category (e.g. Password Hygiene, Social Engineering).
Language(s) – Show only courses in your preferred language(s).
You can combine multiple filters at once to further refine exactly the kind of course you’re looking for. For example: Beginner + Explainer style + Threats + Spanish.
Sorting courses
In the uLearn Course Library, you can also change the order of your results using the Sort By menu. This makes it easier to browse courses in the way that works best for you. The available options are:
Name (A-Z) – Lists courses alphabetically by title.
Name (Z-A) – Lists courses in reverse alphabetical order by title.
Oldest to Newest – Displays courses in order of their creation date, starting with the oldest.
Recently Updated – Displays courses based on the most recent updates, with the latest changes shown first.
