Written by Anna Cunningham

You can export a full list of the courses in your uLearn Course Library as a CSV file. This is useful if you need to build a training matrix, share your available training with clients, or provide evidence of your training programme for compliance audits such as PCI DSS or ISO 27001.

In this article you will learn:

Exporting the Course Library

  1. Go to uLearn > Course Library.

  2. Make sure you're on the Catalogue tab, then click Export to CSV.

  3. The CSV file will download to your device. You can open it in Excel, Google Sheets or any spreadsheet application.

Note: the Export to CSV option is available on the Catalogue tab.

What's included in the export

The export always contains every course in the Catalogue, including any custom courses you've created, even if you have search terms or filters applied on the page.

The CSV file is named course-library_[date].csv and includes the following columns:

  • Name – the course title

  • Source – whether the course is a usecure course or a Custom course

  • Category and Subcategory – the topic the course belongs to

  • Level – Foundational, Practitioner or Expert

  • Questions – the number of questions in the course

  • Languages – the languages the course is available in

  • Auto-enrol – whether the course is included in Auto Enrol

  • Updated – the date the course was last updated

  • Description – the course description
