The usecure platform contains a variety of products, features and settings - but this guide will show you how to get started in just 15 minutes.

STEP 1: Add administrators

You don't need to manage the usecure platform alone. You can add as many other administrators as you want, ensuring that whoever requires it in your company can easily access usecure.

STEP 2: Configure platform settings

The usecure platform can be customised in a number of ways to ensure it meets the needs of your company. For example, you can upload your custom branding to the course material and emails. It is a good idea to have a look at these settings before you start importing your users.

STEP 3: Import your users

Importing all your users to the usecure platform is most easily achieved using a CSV import or Microsoft 365 synchronisation. Learn all you need to know about importing users in the article below.

STEP 4: Add managers

Adding managers to the usecure platform allows the reporting of course participation and results to be sent out to the relevant personnel in your company. You can add as many managers as you wish to any group of users on the usecure app.

STEP 5: Ensure platform emails and phishing simulations are delivered

To ensure that course enrolment and reminder emails get successfully delivered to your users, you will need to allow-list the usecure IP addresses in your email server settings. We recommend you also set up Message Injection for delivering simulated phishing emails.

STEP 6: Enrol your users

Now, it's finally time to start enrolling your users onto their security awareness training courses. You can either do this manually, or simply set up auto-enrol to allow usecure's intelligently-automated solution to automatically send the most relevant training courses to your users.

STEP 7: Setup phishing simulations

You are ready to send out your first phishing simulation. You can either set up auto-phish to have simulations automatically created and sent out, or create your own custom or template-based simulation.
